Implementing Azure AI translation with John Paul Construction
Operating across multiple international markets, John Paul Construction (JPC) encountered an increasing number of communication challenges due to language differences as its global footprint was growing.
These language barriers led to inefficiencies, particularly in sharing and interpreting critical information and documentation:
- Cross-border collaboration was hindered, affecting project coordination.
- Operational delays arose from slow, manual translation of critical documents.
- Cultural and industry-specific nuances were often lost in translation, leading to miscommunication.
- Employee productivity was impacted as staff spent time translating instead of focusing on core tasks.
JPC partnered with Logicalis to implement Microsoft Azure AI translation services, tailored to their specific business needs. The solution included:
- A custom WebApp for uploading, translating, and distributing documents.
- Copilot-assisted translation to ensure contextual accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- A scalable and secure infrastructure to support growing translation demands while protecting sensitive data.
The Results:
- Improved efficiency: Internal documents are now translated quickly and accurately, reducing stress and delays.
- Enhanced accuracy: Consistent translations help meet compliance and maintain high documentation standards.
- Optimized resources: Automation freed up staff to focus on strategic and operational priorities.
- Stronger collaboration: Seamless communication across international teams has boosted productivity and teamwork.
By integrating Azure AI translation, JPC eliminated language barriers and empowered their teams to collaborate more effectively, delivering complex construction projects with the excellence and precision they’re known for.
The Logicalis team showcased how to seamlessly introduce AI into real-world applications, transforming complex integrations into straightforward and user-friendly processes. From the start, we were impressed with our engagement with Logicalis’s approach. Their team devised a very succinct plan, executed it flawlessly, and collaborated effectively with our team throughout the journey, resulting in a fantastic product and successful implementation. We look forward to engaging on future projects, as they embody our principles of excellence, respect, and teamwork perfectly.
