Logicalis UK & Ireland, officially named one of 250 UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing

, Feb 17, 2022

London, United Kingdom: 17th February 2022 – Logicalis UKI today announces it has been named as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing (2022), receiving a ranking of 72 by Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture. This announcement builds on the recognition that Logicalis UKI was one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Tech for 2021 and ranked 61 in the 2021 UK’s Best Workplaces list in the Medium (50-250) category.

To determine the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing list, Great Place to Work’s culture experts analysed thousands of employee surveys, assessing people’s holistic experiences of wellbeing at work by asking employees to comment on how their company supports them with work-life balance, job satisfaction, psychological safety, and financial security.

Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation could deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels. Against this assessment Logicalis UKI achieved a 78% Wellbeing index.

Jen Edwards, People & Ops Director, Logicalis UK & Ireland says: “At Logicalis UKI, our people are at the heart of everything we do and are our most important asset. Driving a culture of support that values each individual is a key differentiator that sets up apart as a business.

During the last 18 months, we developed several ways to support our employees, at what was undoubtedly one of the most challenging times for our team. With the pandemic resulting in global lockdowns and remote working, we needed to ensure that we were supporting the wellbeing of our employees. Despite working in an environment that was very isolating, we introduced a programme of mental health support and social activities. More recently, as we emerge from a period of remote working, we have implemented a Wellbeing Calendar which has been devised by a cross functional team. This delivers regular wellbeing content to employees on important topics, for example we have a programme of activity planned for stress awareness month in April".

“Being better for people is better for business, especially in tough times,” explained Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK. “When employees feel genuinely cared for, their loyalty, engagement and productivity improve. Happier people also become brand advocates for the business and will often go the extra mile to provide a positive experience for their clients and customers. We’re delighted to launch our first-ever UK's Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing list in 2022, shining a light on the 250 companies who have succeeded in ensuring staff experience high levels of wellbeing across the organisation. Hopefully, this recognition and acknowledgement will inspire more workplaces to do the same in years to come.”

On this achievement, Alex Louth, CEO LUKI comments: “Recognition by Great Place to Work ® as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing 2022, is testament to the collaborative and supportive culture that exists within our team. Receiving this award is just one example of how we prioritise our people at LUKI, to ensure they have a working environment in which they feel they can unlock their potential".
