Logicalis SMC sponsors the Roparun

, Jun 1, 2012

Saturday 11 June 2011 – it’s that time again! Over 275 teams will be taking part in the Roparun, the longest non-stop relay race in the world, from Paris to Rotterdam.

This annual RO(tterdam) PA(ris) RUN has been held since 1992 and has grown into a real spectacle, with a caravan of 2,200 runners and several dozen escorts making their way through France, Belgium and the Netherlands with around 800 buses, minibuses and camper vans.

Why the Roparun?

The Roparun is much more than an adventurous and sporting challenge. The main aim is to raise as much money as possible for the Roparun Foundation, all for the good cause of improving quality of life for cancer patients under the motto ‘Seeking to add life to the days when no more days can be added to the life’.

Sponsorship of SFG Runners

Good causes such as this deserve support! Logicalis SMC is therefore proud to sponsor the Sint Franciscus Gasthuis team. The SFG Runners will be on the starting line for the eighth time on 11 June. Two days and over 530 km later, on Monday 13 June, they expect to cross the finishing line on a festive Coolsingel in Rotterdam.

We wish the SFG Runners every success in their vital money-raising and their sporting adventure!
